We must be like Jesus, even in our marriage. We read about Jesus love for His disciples. John 13:1 - "Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end."

Jesus could easily say no when He stood before the cross. He could become unfaithful towards His intent and He could have taken the easier road. But He did not. He loved us till the end.

May I say this with compassion, and I do not point any fingers. People that divorce without Biblical reasons did not love till the end.
We must be like Jesus, even in our marriages. 2 Tim. 2:13 - "If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself. "
It is very important for a man and a woman to be in marriage like Jesus. Even if your husband or wife becomes unfaithful, you must still be faithful. Never mind how my partner in marriage treats me, I will still treat them with love. It's not about what I receive but what I give, cause Jesus say it is better to give than to receive.
Often people say that it is tough in the marriage, it is not nice to be married to him or her anymore. He or she drives me mad.

Did you know that there is a crown for martyrs.
I lot of people are not up for the difficult side of their marriage so they want to walk out. I will rather stay in my marriage, even though it is difficult and love till the end, be faithful and in the end I will receive the crown from Jesus who will say " Well done" Mat 25:21 - "His lord said to him, Well done, good and true servant: you have been true in a small thing, I will give you control over great things: take your part in the joy of your lord."

PRAYER
Lord, I pray for a fresh start in my marriage, I want to give love ... help me to love until the end.

Amen!
